Our rotary drum mixers SOFRAGIR are specially designed for fragile products that are not fitted for attrition or heating such as powders, granules and other bulk materials.

The horizontal vessel is provided with mixing troughs which gather the products and create a cross-flow between the particles. The rotation speed is very low, and the absorbed power reduced. These machines can be adapted for batch-type process, or continuous-type process.

Our rotary drum mixers SOFRAGIR are used in several industrial applications, to do some gentle mixing action, or some granulation operations.
As example, these machines are used in food (flavoring of tea leaves, colorization of sugar), in specialty chemicals (regeneration of catalysts, used in oil refining), in building construction (premix).
